I went for an audition the other day and when I came out, across the road, this was going on. I didn't think the audition was that big a deal then I realised it must be a film premier. This hoopla was to tell us that Host was in cinemas soon and you can ignore it at your leisure.
As you'd expect in Hollywood, people we're pretty blase about the event, passersby threw a cursory glance in the general direction of the flashing lights and then carried on with their business. I think this may be to do with the fact that there's no huge names in Host unless you can't Brent Wendall Williams who has a whopping 20 letters, so his name is massive.
