It's so reassuring to know that no matter where you are in the world, some things will always be the same. People may speak different languages, have different customs, wear different clothes but from Calcutta to Clapham, Balham to Beverley Hills, man will always deal with unwanted furniture by simply dumping it in the street hoping it'll become someone else's problem. Actually there's practically no rain here so the gear is in good nick. You could probably furnish a modest sized apartment with what you find in the street. Maybe it's not so bad after all.
